Plant FoodMy 9 year old son has had a fuzzy companion since he was born. He was a gift from the OR staff at Muskogee Region Hospital in Oklahoma. "Plant Food" (best name ever, if you ask me) is a 2001 Beanie Baby actually named "Bananas". Plant Food is a little thread bare now from all the love he has received for almost 10 years.
He has been slobbered on, puked on, and is often dressed as Spider Man. The whole family loves this little guy.
The neighbors just had a baby in December. She brought the baby over today for my children to play with. From the sound of it, my kids were instantly in love. My son brought out Plant Food to show the baby.
This got me thinking. She probably doesn't have a Plant Food yet. Well low and behold Amazon had one for $6.00 delivered to my house. Happy birthday neighbor girl. I hope you love Bananas aka Plant Food as much as we do.
At my house, we grew up with "Henry" the stuffed dog. Same thing happened. Henry got ripped up so Mom decided to get us a new one, Henrietta. She was no comparison to Henry.
Anyone out there got a "Plant Food"? Love to hear about it or see a picture.
Luckily we grow out of the comforting toys and into new more acceptable, age appropriate toys like 67 Mustangs.
